Fun Fact Illustration

The prompt for this illustration was to take an absurd fun fact, and illustrate it! This fun, vibrant, and youthfull illustration is completely digital. The line work and handlettering were completely drawn in illustrator, then brought into photoshop for flat color and shading. Some key highlights are the fact that there are the little figures building all throughout, if you zoom in close enough you’ll find one in the airplane! As well as the true to scale whale, as blue whales are usually 80 feet... this was the perfect addition to show how giant this sandcastle really was!
